The Montgomery County Hero Fund, a registered 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation, was founded in response to the murder of a Plymouth Township Police Department Officer and the United States Marine Corps (Ret.) in 2012. The Board of Directors, made up of Chief County Detective Samuel Gallen, Fire Chief Thomas O'Donnell, Norristown Police Officer Brian Saxon, and Sharon & Sean E. Cullen, stand ready and with you in this time of need. 

The mission of the Montgomery County Hero Fund is to immediately guarantee that the acts of a Hero will never be forgotten and that we will always rise to the challenge of making sure in the time of tragedy, sacrifice or emergency that Firemen, Law Enforcement Officers, Military Personnel, Paramedics and/or First Responders and their love ones will be protected and cared for in the event of tragedy or emergency.

The Board of Directors have pledged all available resources to alleviate immediate, temporary, unforeseen, life-sustaining financial effects of the Coronavirus-19 (COVID-19 Virus) which has disproportionately struck those brave Montgomery County Heroes that we have sworn to aid and assist. If you, or a member of your Organization, is positive for, or quarantined, as a direct result of work-related service and in are need of emergency assistance, please refer to below the established procedure for assistance:

If you have been, by doctor's orders or via your Department, hospitalized or quarantined, please reach out to your Chief, Superintendent, Warden, Commander or highest-ranking member of your Organization to contact us directly. Individuals in need must contact their Organization to contact us to coordinate assistance. Organizational leaders are also encouraged to reach out on behalf of their members. All requests for assistance will be coordinated directly with your Organization. It is our intention to continue to provide aid until this emergency has passed or we are preempted by governmental intervention.
